Residents wishing to pursue post-secondary may choose to attend Kwantien Polytechnic University or BCIT Aerospace Technology, both having campuses in Richmond. In addition, the city is in close proximity to several major educational institutions including University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.

The city’s multi-ethnic community enjoys Richmond’s many cultural offerings including an art centre and multiple galleries, libraries, heritage sites, and the professional Gateway Theatre.
