TransLink provides buses which take regular routes through Richmond, and a bus stop is available on Moresby Drive. The SkyTrain also provides rapid transit to downtown Vancouver from the Brighouse Station on No. 3 Road, just over 5 kilometers from Quilchena.
Schools
Children in the Quilchena neighborhood attend the R M Grauer Elementary School, which feeds into the J N Burnett Secondary School. These are within walking distance for many families, and those who desire public school alternatives can take advantage of St. Joseph the Worker Elementary and Richmond Christian School, both of which are high quality private schools. As far as higher-learning goes, Richmond has some great options: Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the satellite location of Sprott Shaw College both offer several degrees in a huge variety of programs.
