Throughout Richmond, TransLink provides bus access with regular routes all over the city. The closest bus stop on Granville Avenue is less than a kilometer from the neighbourhood.

Families in Riverdale send their children to James Thompson Elementary and Burnett Secondary School, both of which are considered above average and are less than a kilometer from most homes in the neighborhood.
