University of British Columbia is just a 25 minute drive away or, alternatively, is accessible by SkyTrain from one of the Brighouse stations. For students wishing to enter the tech industry, the BC Institute of Technology sits just across the river on Sea Island.

Along the North road of Brighouse South sits Minoru Park, a Richmond historic site and the current centre of culture for the city. A visit to Richmond’s Art Centre might find one catching a performance of world-class opera. Also located in Minoru Park, the Richmond Library and museum are invaluable resources for students and members of the community.

On the opposite side of Granville Ave, Minoru Park offers countless opportunities for recreations and leisure.
