Shopping/Dining

For a smaller neighbourhood, Fort Langley boasts a variety of options when it comes to shopping and dining. The majority of shops and restaurants are located along Glover Road, between St. Andrews and the Bedford Channel Bridge. From Glover Road, residents can reach The Trans-Canada Highway, which is the quickest way to reach nearby cities like Vancouver, Coquitlam, Surrey and New Westminster. It's less than an hour's drive to downtown Vancouver, which makes Fort Langley very popular amongst professionals who want a peaceful, lavish home retreat from the crowding and nuisances of downtown Vancouver and other urban areas. TransLink buses operate throughout town, providing public transportation, but for the most part, Fort Langley is a car-dependent neighbourhood.
