The children of Northeast Maple Ridge attend Webster's Corners Elementary. Many residents are within walking distance of the school, so they are able to walk their children to and from school each day. This school empties out into Garibaldi Secondary school. Maple Ridge is known for having excellent schools that focus on important industries like technology and allow children to learn at their own pace with customized instruction. Post-secondary options for Northeast residents include Douglas College, BCIT and Sprott Shaw College.

Within Maple Ridge, the main art draw is the ACT Arts Centre.
