Marpole Homes and History

Marpole is among the oldest neighbourhoods in Vancouver, with European settlement dating back to Confederation. During the latter half of the 1800s, the area was known as Eburne Station. The neighbourhood was named Marpole in 1916 in honour of CP Rail Superintendent Richard Marpole.

Home to 24,000 people, Marpole is a fairly diverse neighbourhood.
