The region was officially founded in 1899 by John Moore Robinson, who also founded and settled Summerland and Naramata. But even before 1899, Peachland had been settled by the Okanagan tribes. Peachland’s geography is characterized by steep hills with portions of depressions. These depressions are caused by lakes that have now dried up. Peachland is an adventure lover’s paradise. The Zipzone Adventure Park is located at Peachland and visitors can indulge in rappelling, zipline, hiking etc. If you have a penchant for ATVs, then you shouldn’t miss the Okanagan ATV Tours. Peachland Daycare, Le Petit Hibou Pre-School Society Peachland Elementary, George Pringle Elementary, Glenrosa Middle School and Mount Boucherie Secondary School are excellent options to consider.Peachland doesn’t have any universities within the community. However, Kelowna is just a 20 minute drive from the locality. Your children won’t have any problem getting to college. Sprott Shaw College Kelowna, Okanagan College - Kelowna Campus and Focus College are excellent options.
