Within the Moody Centre neighborhood, children attend Moody Elementary and many are within walking distance, so parents can walk children to and from school. The neighborhood is served by Moody Middle as well, which is very conveniently located just outside Moody Centre.
The arts scene in Port Moody is quite active; after all, it has been dubbed "The City of Arts." A variety of theaters, galleries and arts centers are available for residents, including Inlet Theatre, the Port Moody Arts Centre (which is located within the Moody Centre neighborhood), the Port Moody Station Museum and more.
