Okanagan College (Penticton Campus) serves the town of Oliver and is reputed for offering high-quality education and specialized training for hospitality and wine industries.

The town is served by the SOGH (South Okanagan General Hospital), which is a Level 1 Community healthcare center. Additionally, there are many dentists, medical clinics, optometrists, massage therapists and chiropractors, apart from public and private retirement facilities.
