Richmond’s cultural hub, Minoru Park, resides in a neighbouring community just 5 minutes from Garden City. Garden City Community Park is one of Richmond’s most visited recreational environments. The park is host for local sporting events and gatherings.

The Outdoors

Bicycle-friendly roads lead to designated cycling trails in neighbouring communities.  A 1.5km pathway circuit resides in Garden City Community Park, wrapping around the lake for a peaceful walk by the water’s edge. An Arboretum is one of the park’s most special features, showcasing almost 100 trees of varying species from around the Pacific Rim.
