For a smaller neighbourhood, Fort Langley boasts a variety of options when it comes to shopping and dining. TransLink buses operate throughout town, providing public transportation, but for the most part, Fort Langley is a car-dependent neighbourhood.

Outside of the neighbourhood are a variety of recreational options as well, including the Brookswood Disc Golf Course and the Hazelmere Golf and Tennis Club, perfect for golf lovers. The Campbell Valley Regional Park is an excellent option for those who love the outdoors; offering 20km of walking and hiking trails and 14km of horseback riding trails. Other amenities here include picnic areas, an off-leash dog park, and meeting facilities.
